1990 |

Immediately after the political change in Romania, Szep Alexandru sets up his first business, in transporting goods, a field of activity he is familiar to, and buys his first second hand truck, an IFA L50 W, and working independently, as a natural person. During the period of time when he was both owner and driver, he gained the respect and appreciation of many customers for correctness/ honesty, punctuality and the respect shown to his clients.

He buys a new truck, this time a new one, a “STAR”1142 from the ex- factory “Jeletz” in Poland. |

According to the regulations he sets up a private company S.C. Expres Transport S.R.L. |

|
Another second hand truck with a trailer (a MAN 361) is acquired.
Szep Zoltan, his eldest son, and later his brother, Szep Alexandru join the business.
Even from the beginning his wife, Szep Ileana, is the dispatcher and she is also in charge with the bookkeeping. She soon gains experience in the international transportation of goods.

| 1997 |
|
Because of the low budget, when EURO2 auto vehicles are imposed, he tries to negotiate with truck producers and dealers. The negotiations fail because the producers or dealers ask for bank bonds, especially because they distrust Romanian partners.
He finds support in AD. VAN WIJK, a Dutch businessman, who has also set up a transportation company in Cluj. The same year the first DAF XF truck with a semi-trailer is acquired.
Faithful to its principles, S.C. Expres Transport S.R.L. grows, in spite of the difficulties encountered at the beginning, acquiring new trucks every year.

The company acquires building ground for an own garage, in Pecica. |

| 2003 |
|
The building of the new garage is completed and a work point is opened. |

|
Four EURO5 trucks are bough, among which a refrigerated van, to serve this segment of transport. Today, our company collaborates with big companies, shipping goods mainly on the route Romania - Italy. It owns a fleet 19 DAF trucks and all types of trailers and best qualified drivers.
